Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager for our commercial mechanical projects in Honolulu, HI. The ideal candidate will have a stable work history and at least 15 years of project management experience in both commercial and military construction.
Preference is given to local candidates. The position requires a degree in construction management or mechanical engineering, or equivalent field experience.
Role and Responsibilities
- Project Management : Lead the planning, execution, and closing of complex mechanical construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Stakeholder Communication : Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Risk Management : Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Quality Control : Ensure all projects meet industry standards and client specifications.
- Budget Management : Oversee project budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met and costs are controlled.
Qualifications
- Experience : Minimum of 15 years of project management experience in commercial and military construction projects, including work on military bases, hospitals, schools, and high-rises.
- Education : Bachelor’s degree in construction management, mechanical engineering, or a related field, or equivalent field experience.
- Local Candidate : Preference for candidates who are local to Honolulu, HI, or willing to relocate.
- Technical Skills : Proficiency in project management software and tools, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems in commercial settings.
- Leadership : Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively manage diverse teams and complex projects.
