Title : Program Manager Senior

Position Overview :

The Program Manager Senior will be responsible for overseeing the execution of Task 4 : Program / Project Management and providing high-level administrative support to key stakeholders and department leaders within the Knowledge Management Office (KMO).

This individual will ensure that program objectives are met efficiently and effectively, while maintaining compliance with Client policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead the planning, implementation, and tracking of a specific short-term project or a segment of a larger project.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Manage project resources, including personnel, budget, and scheduling, to achieve project goals.
  • Implement quality control processes to ensure consistent delivery of quality goods and services.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and report on performance standards.
  • Address underperformance of personnel and manage organizational turnover / retention.
  • Recruit talent agilely and manage promotions within the team to ensure alignment with labor categories.
  • Ensure confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project efficiency.

Qualifications :

  • Extensive experience in program / project management within a government contracting environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Strong understanding of Client policies and procedures, particularly related to knowledge management and project management.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects to successful completion.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with the highest level of confidentiality and discretion.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; PMP certification is highly desirable.
