We’re currently seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) with a strong surgical background to join our compassionate and talented team. This is more than a job—it’s an opportunity to focus on anesthesia excellence, patient advocacy, and intraoperative care in a supportive, collaborative environment that values both professional growth and work-life balance.

Here is What Your day May Consist of :

  • Assist veterinarians during surgical procedures, with an emphasis on anesthesia monitoring, sterile technique, and patient safety .
  • Perform pre-operative preparation and post-operative recovery , ensuring each patient is comfortable and closely monitored.
  • Administer medications, fluids, and pain management under DVM supervision.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including anesthetic logs and post-op instructions.
  • Manage and maintain surgical equipment and instruments for optimal functionality and sterility.
  • Support dental procedures including radiographs, charting, and assisting with extractions.
  • Educate clients on post-operative care and recovery , promoting excellent patient outcomes.
  • Collaborate with fellow technicians and support staff to uphold our commitment to high-quality, holistic care.

Here is What You Will Bring to the Position :

Current LVT license (or eligibility for South Carolina licensure).

2+ years of experience in a surgical or general practice setting preferred.

  • Proficiency in anesthesia protocols , surgical prep, and intraoperative monitoring.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented, calm under pressure, and compassionate with both pets and their people.
  • Interest in integrative veterinary medicine is a plus, but not required.
