Dental / Orthodontic Assistant (Full-Time) $1,200 Sign-On Bonus | $21-$26 / hr | Albany, NY

Pediatric Dentistry of Albany is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Full-Time Dental Assistant to join our growing practice. 💰 Pay & Perks :

  • $21.00 - $26.00 per hour (based on experience)
  • $1,200 Sign-On Bonus

    • 🗓 Schedule :

  • Full-time - Monday through Friday
  • Hours : 9 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM (may vary slightly)
  • Location : In-person role at our Albany, NY office

    • 🦷 Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist dentists during exams and procedures (chairside support)
  • Take dental X-rays and support hygiene appointments
  • Greet and prepare patients for treatment
  • Set up and clean operatories, manage supply inventory
  • Maintain sterilization and infection control protocols
  • Educate, comfort, and engage pediatric patients during their visit
  • Assist with front office duties as needed

    • ✅ Qualifications :

  • 1+ year of dental or orthodontic assistant experience , OR Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification
  • X-ray license preferred
  • Pediatric dental experience is a plus
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Familiarity with dental charting and treatment planning
  • Friendly, professional, and calm demeanor-especially with kids
  • Willingness to relocate to Albany, NY if not local
