About Our Client :
An Addison Group client is seeking a Customer Service Representative for their Bensalem office. This is a full-time, contract-to-hire position, working fully onsite.
Job Description :
The Customer Service Representative will support logistics operations by providing efficient customer service, accurate data entry, and proactive collaboration with various teams.
Key Responsibilities :
- Prompt and accurate data entry of customer orders into the system
- Monitor driver deliveries and pick-ups for on-time performance
- Prepare tracking reports to ensure smooth logistics management
- Develop a comprehensive knowledge base of customers and their needs
- Build and maintain customer relationships for satisfaction and loyalty
- Resolve customer inquiries and issues promptly
- Understand and comply with rail carriers and piers operational procedures
- Collaborate with Dispatchers to prevent and resolve logistical issues
- Liaise with the Revenue Team to retain and develop business opportunities
- Proactively trace and monitor loads to prevent issues
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management
Qualifications :
- Experience in customer service or logistics is preferred
- Strong data entry and communication skills
- Ability to handle inquiries and resolve issues efficiently
- Knowledge of logistics or transportation operations is a plus
