Legal Staff Assistant ( Onsite in San Diego ) ( Full-Time )
Location : Onsite in the San Diego office
Salary : $42K - $44K base Salary
Must Haves :
- 1+ years of Legal office experience
- High level of motivation with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to multitask, successfully manage and prioritize various demands daily, and take direction from support staff and attorneys.
Qualifications

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Extremely detail-oriented and able to prioritize a heavy workload
- Practical oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience with databases and data entry a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide general administrative and clerical support as directed
- Opening new matters / files
- Assist with submitting client invoices
- Review and verify the accuracy of billing and supporting documentation as required.
- Assist with the submission of vendor bills and check requests
- Ability to handle a high volume of bills per month
- Research and respond to inquiries regarding billing issues and problems
- Manage and update data using Excel spreadsheets
- Other administrative tasks as assigned
