ProCare Therapy have a Special Education Teacher, current-schoolyear opening with a welcoming, supportive school district.
The district will speak to Special Education Teacherswho have worked in various settings, but its preference is Special Education Teacher with school-based experience.

Job Details :
- Onsite near the West Warwick, Rhode Island area
- Start ASAP
- 37.5 guaranteed service hours per week
students / sites and caseload information will be discussed more in depth with special services' director during interview
Requirements :
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education (or related field)
- Valid state (RI) teaching certification / license in Special Education.
- Prior experience working with students with special needs in inner city is preferred
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Provide specialized instruction and support to help students achieve academic and social goals
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create a nurturing learning environment
- Adapt teaching methods and materials to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities
- Assess student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly
