Human Resources Manager

HR is about people and here at Andesa we're looking for a passionate remote HR Manager to advance our organizational goals by leading key people initiatives, delivering exceptional internal customer support, and championing HR functional excellence.

What you'll do

This dynamic position blends administrative and strategic responsibilities to bolster our employee-owned company and RICHIR (respect, integrity, courage, honesty, initiative, and responsibility) Values.

Utilizing a blend of business and HR experience, you'll collaborate with leaders across all levels to shape strategy, facilitate change management, and foster a culture of employee-owner engagement.

This hands-on management role spans various functional areas, actively engaging in people operations, including :

Recruitment

o Lead talent acquisition strategy and end-to-end recruiting process

o Collaborate with hiring managers to deeply understand staffing needs and ensure the acquisition of the right talent

Training & Development

o Encourage a "Culture of Mentoring"

o Design and implement comprehensive training programs to enhance manager and employee skills, foster professional growth, and thrive in a remote-first environment

• Compensation & Benefits
• Administer our total compensation philosophy and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness and compliance with industry standards
• Performance Monitoring & Management
• Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, regular feedback, and performance evaluations
• Work closely with leadership to address performance issues and recognize and reward high performers
• Employee Communication & Counseling
• Lead and support teams on employee engagement projects like appreciation events, engagement, community service opportunities, etc.
• Actively participate in Promoting a Positive Andesa Committee (DEI efforts)
• Provide guidance and support in resolving employee concerns, conflicts, and performance challenges
• Foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication and conflict resolution
• HR Management
• Manage HR responsibilities with cross-functional team members
• Manage supplemental / outsourced HR resources

o Identify opportunities for process improvements within HR functions and implement effective solutions

o Stay informed about evolving HR trends and proactively integrate best practices into our operations

o Develop and maintain HR policies, ensuring alignment with legal requirements, corporate strategy and industry best practices

o Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations

Strategy

o Collaborate with leadership to align HR strategies with overall business objectives

o Serve as a strategic advisor, contributing to success of the organization as a remote first operation while fostering an employee-centric, positive company culture

What you need to thrive in this role

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• PHR, SPHR, or GPHR certification preferred
• At least 3 years of HR Manager experience
• Employee-ownership (ESOP) understanding preferred
• Remote work proficiency
• Technical Industry Background :

o Previous experience in a technical / technology-driven company, understanding the nuances of the industry and the specific HR needs that arise in this dynamic sector

• Knowledge of federal, state, and local Human Resource related laws & regulations
• Demonstrated ability to develop and establish standards and procedures and enact change
• Work effectively with others, treat others with courtesy and respect; be a team player
• Ability to think analytically about problems
• Excellent communication skills - written, oral, presentation, etc.
