Job Overview

Position Summary :

This individual will be responsible for managing multiple in parallel Trade Compliance IT related projects, leading teams to analyze, implement, and support multiple applications in accordance with the TEIS development and project management methodologies to support strategic and tactical compliance initiatives across multiple time zones.

A strong candidate will have a solid background in Export Trade Compliance topics using and supporting automated solutions.

Prior experience with SAP-GTS, SAP ECC and S / 4 SD processes is required.

Day-to-Day Job Overview

  • Understanding and documenting business requirements to determine the needs of the business around export compliance concerns
  • Managing multiple in parallel projects of different sizes and project dependencies across multiple time zones
  • Manages and coordinates all project teams activities including planning, scheduling, tracking, and reporting all project progress.
  • Lead cross functional teams consisting of members from multiple technical disciplines and the wider business.
  • Assess, identify, and report risks and develop mitigation plans.
  • Run project status meetings, track status of existing issues and identify any new issues and risks.
  • Ensure continual monitoring and reporting of project progress to ensure project remains on schedule.

Responsibilities

The Project Manager role is for a Senior Project Management professional responsible for managing all aspects of Global Trade Compliance projects.

Project plans, resource management, budget management, risk & issue management, cross-organizational coordination, reporting, critical problem resolution, escalations.

The Senior Project Manager will partner closely with the Global Trade Services CIO team, GAS execution teams, TEIS Leadership and BU / Segment partners to oversee the assigned projects and to keep track of the teams productivity, progress & performance.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 5 years of expertise leading small & large-scale cross functional initiatives and must be passionate about the quality delivery of projects, assuring that project deadlines & objectives are met, has strong communication & influencing skills, fosters teamwork and is comfortable working on global complex projects.

This position will be part of the GLOBAL TEIS TEIS is a diverse, global partner to all of TE's businesses and functions.

The TEIS team is comprised of multiple Centers of Excellence (CoEs) in Digital, Infrastructure and Security, Application Services and our CIO Business Office

What your background should look like :

  • Have received a BA / BS Degree in, Information Technology (IT) with PMP certification preferred. from an accredited college or university or have equivalent work history.
  • 3-5 years of experience 3 yrs with degree. 5 years with no degree
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. - no sponsorship will be offered

COMPENSATION

  • Competitive base salary commensurate with experience : $ 118,240-177,360 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
  • Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience / qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
  • Total Compensation Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
