About The Position
Job Title : Echo Technologist Job Specialty : Diagnostic Imaging - Echo Technologist Job Duration : 13 Weeks Shift : 8 Hour Day, with call rotation (minimum of 10 days per month), including holiday rotation Guaranteed Hours : Not specified Experience : 0+ years License : Not specified Certifications : Not specified Must-Have : Ability to perform various echocardiographic procedures and assist in transesophageal echocardiography Job Description : - Perform adult transthoracic echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, and dobutamine stress echocardiograms.
- Assist in transesophageal echocardiography following established practices and procedures. - Provide preliminary diagnostic evaluations and notify cardiologists of examination results.
- Consult with cardiologists to determine requirements for non-standard examinations. - Establish technical factors to fulfill examination requirements.
- Assist with left atrial appendage closures. - Rotate call coverage, including weekends and holidays, as required. - Receive direction from providers and department managers / supervisors.
Note : Holiday coverage is required for this position.
