Receiving Clerk Job Description Summary

Order indirect inventories and maintain database for supply chain management. Job Description

• Maintain physical parts inventory for machine / equipment repair : Review min / max reorder report daily and make correction to ensure proper inventory levels for all machine maintenance components, gases & machine filters.
• Control, and proper storage and organization of receiving bay.
• Track shipments and delivery of parts as required for service required.
• Perform audits on indirect inventories.
• Maintain tracking system for all critical repairs.
• Create job requisitions for required components.
• Create manual shippers and ship and track parts for repairs.
• Operation of pendent crane for movement of direct material.
• Schedule all required inspections for safety (i.e. crane, strap & hoist inspections, etc.)
• Interface with suppliers and commodity groups.
• Flexible work schedule and willingness to work extended hours to include workdays and weekends if required.
• All other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Education

• HS Diploma or GED
• Experience with managing indirect inventory, tool crib, maintenance crib and / or general stores
• Microsoft applications : Outlook, Excel, Word
