Job Description\n

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Neonatal ICU position requiring an active MT or compact RN license, with varied shift coverage.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in a hospital environment
  • Patient population includes critically ill and premature neonates
  • Varied shifts including days, nights, weekends, and possible holidays
  • Thirteen-week contract assignment
  • Collaborate with healthcare team to provide comprehensive care and education to patients and families
  • Responsible for patient assessment, individualized care planning, intervention, and evaluation
  • Expected to comply with policies and protocols for stroke care, including stroke competency education
  • Role requires strong teamwork, sound judgment, and emotional intelligence
  • Facility may cancel up to three shifts per 13-week contract for census or other unforeseen circumstances

  • Active Montana or compact RN license
  • Current certifications : BLS (AHA), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and STABLE
  • At least 1 year of NICU, Labor & Delivery, Emergency Department, or Intensive Care nursing experience
  • Must live at least 90 miles from the facility to be considered
