Senior Product Manager, Recommendation - TikTok Shop - User Experience & User Trust

The US e-commerce recommendation team is responsible for improving consumer / seller / creator experience via recommendations product to drive TikTok e-commerce business growth.

We are looking for experienced PMs to identify business problems / opportunities in the US market and build innovative recommendation products to achieve ambitious business goals.

Key Responsibilities :

• Responsible for optimizing the user experience and improving user trust for e-commerce short videos and live.
• Problem identification - to identify the key factors that harm user experience and user trust through user research and data analysis.
• Roadmap planning - to set clear product roadmap by opportunity sizing and resource coordination. Define product key milestones and manage product development cycles.
• Solution implementation - design and drive solutions via related products and traffic strategies, and build metrics to monitor the status of user experience and measure the effectiveness of solutions.
• Work closely with technology, governance, data scientists, user research, and other teams to achieve the goals.

Qualifications :

• BA / BS degree or above in Computer Science, EE, Mathematics, or Statistics, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3+ years product management or related industry experience, with an e-commerce background.
• Technical experience and detailed understanding of Machine Learning technologies and content (short video and live).
• Fast learning and self-driven.

Compensation Description (annually)

The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $156,864 - $296,020 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.

Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses / incentives, and restricted stock units.
