Key Responsibilities
As the CFO, you will :
- Serve as an early adopter of technological advancements in finance, utilizing sophisticated data tools to inform strategic decisions and achieve favorable outcomes.
- Collaborate closely with other C-suite executives and business leaders to identify and leverage growth opportunities.
- Oversee financial planning and analysis, ensuring the creation of comprehensive reports and tools for effective budgeting and forecasting.
- Guarantee timely and precise financial reporting for stakeholders, including lenders and joint venture partners.
- Employ your corporate finance and capital markets expertise to devise innovative financing structures and model alternative scenarios.
- Lead initiatives that promote operational efficiencies through team collaboration and the implementation of advanced systems and software.
- Act as the primary liaison with banks, financial partners, and public auditors while remaining knowledgeable about the latest accounting, tax, and regulatory developments.
Required Skills
Candidates should demonstrate :
- A strong command of GAAP accounting principles.
- Proficiency in financial analysis, modeling, and forecasting techniques.
- Exceptional communication abilities.
- Familiarity with construction accounting and joint venture accounting practices.
- Experience with Vista / Viewpoint software is advantageous.
- Desirable exposure to mergers and acquisitions.
Qualifications
To qualify for this senior leadership position, candidates must have :
- A minimum of 6 years in a CFO or Director / VP of Finance role within a project accounting-focused industry.
- At least 14 years of experience in public accounting, corporate finance, investment banking, or capital markets.
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (or equivalent experience).
- The ability to pass a background check.
