Job Overview :
Assist in providing quality care to the surgical patient. Responsible for the general maintenance of equipment, room and supplies under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
Assists in supply chain management to include : ordering of supplies, maintenance of PAR levels / organization of supply room, and following the flow of scheduled and add on procedures, contacting industry representatives when appropriate for your specialty.
Acts as a resource for existing and new employees related to specialty.
General Responsibilities :
- Performs scrub duties and assists in maintenance of instruments, equipment and supplies for area of specialty.
- Organizes and pulls case carts and gathers procedural needs for same day and following days’ procedures, contacting industry reps when necessary.
- Acts as a resource for existing and new employees related to specialty.
- Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited School of Technical Training.
- 1 year of previous experience.
Certification preferred.
Able to scrub all surgical procedures.
