Developmental Brain Injury Services (DBIS)
Full-time
40 Hours a Week (flexible schedule)
Summary :
Our team provides clinical support to adults with developmental disabilities and / or brain injuries and to their care and support teams across a variety of services including residential group homes, shared living and outreach.
We serve a population with a wide range of developmental, mental health, medical needs. We work cohesively with our nursing and administrative teams to be able to provide well-rounded supports to enhance and maximize the quality of our individual’s lives.
Responsibilities :
- Write and / or update medication treatment plans. (will be reviewed and signed off on by the supervising clinician).
- Writes and / or updates home and / or community alone time waivers.
- Write and / or updates other paperwork as needed.
- Monitors data collection at the houses.
- Meets with supervising licensed PBS clinician to evaluate data, treatment plan progress, and assist in modifying plans as needed.
- Completes low-level behavior assessments under the direction and supervision of supervising clinician.
- May occasionally meet with a client if needed.
- Meet with staff as needed to obtain information and resolve issues.
- Occasionally attends meetings (e.g. Individual Support Plan (ISP), DDS Risk meetings, etc.) as determined by supervising clinician.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree, or currently enrolled, preferably with a psychology or social work major
- 1-2 yrs working with adults with developmental and intellectual disabilities, mental health concerns, or brain injury.
- Familiarity with MS Word and Excel.
- Valid driver’s license.
