LOGISTICS SPECIALIST
Logistics Specialist :
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Logistics Specialist to manage and optimize logistics operations
You'll ensure timely shipments, coordinate with suppliers and carriers, and maintain inventory accuracy to support smooth and cost-efficient delivery.
Responsibilities of the Logistics Specialist :
- Plan and schedule transportation for incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely delivery.
- Track shipments, resolve delivery issues, and ensure accurate documentation.
- Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and third-party logistics providers to ensure service quality and resolve any logistical challenges.
- Oversee inventory levels, ensuring accurate records and preventing shortages or overstock.
- Identify opportunities to reduce shipping costs while maintaining service quality.
- Ensure all logistics activities comply with regulations and company policies.
Qualifications of the Logistics Specialist :
- 2+ years of logistics or supply chain experience.
- Advanced excel skills required, including pivot tables and vlookups
- Proficient in logistics software with strong organizational skills.
- Knowledge of laws, logistics regulations, and ISO requirements
