A company is looking for a Telephonic Medical Case Manager in a remote setting to coordinate resources and treatment plans in a workers' compensation environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide telephonic outreach for assessment and follow-up case communicationConduct initial assessments and maintain regular contact with injured workers, employers, and providersMonitor medical appointments and negotiate treatment plans with physiciansRequired Qualifications, Training, and EducationCurrent, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license requiredThree or more years of clinical experience in acute careTwo or more years of medical case management or managed care experience preferredKnowledge of utilization management and state workers' compensation lawsDiploma, Associate, or Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred
