A legal services firm in New Jersey is seeking to fill an immediate part-time remote need with the addition of a new Paralegal to their team.
Responsibilities :
The Paralegal will be responsible for :
- Preparing initial demand letters and payoff letters
- Preparing condominium liens and discharge of liens
- Prepare and generate various litigation documents such as complaints, defaults, applications for default judgments, and Stipulations of Settlement as necessary
- Prepare and generate post judgment enforcement, including but not limited to Writs of Execution and Wage garnishments
Qualifications :
- Paralegal Certificate, associate or bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience
- Proficient in the use of technology applications such as a case management software, Word, Excel, Outlook
- Must be extremely organized, detailed oriented and be able to multi-task
- Conscientious with respect to work completion, deadlines, time management and attendance
