Logistics Assistant
The Logistics assistant Associate is responsible for sorting, cleaning, lubricating, and maintaining the operating conditions of tools and consumables that are returned to the warehouse from the field.
Responsible for checking tools to ensure they are effective and safe for the field to use. Responsible for updating inventory, checking in and checking out as applicable.
The main duties include organizing tools, parts, supplies, consumables, working with Service Dispatchers to fulfill commitments, managing deliveries and returns, delivering tools, consumables, company products and other miscellaneous items to our sites in and around the Atlanta area.
Core Responsibilities
- Exhibits the value of competencies for the company, department, employees, and business partners
- Promotes a positive safety culture by adhering to policies and procedures set out by the department
- Process and prepare Tool and material Orders for delivery
- Receive shipments from vendors
- Safely and Securely load materials on company vehicles
- Drive Company vehicles with utmost safety to deliver tools and materials to our field team and customers
- Stocking shelves, monitoring inventory levels and reordering as needed
- Cleaning and re-set up of tools to go back into the field
- Sort and process Tool / Material returns from job sites
- Maintaining a clean and safe work area
- Work independently and assist team members in other areas as needed
- If work volume requires, work on service and construction jobs as a helper for short periods of time.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in Tools and Consumables
- High school Diploma
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong knowledge of Office Suite
- High-level problem-solving abilities
- Ability to manage shifting priorities
- Clean MVR
- Ability to work flexible schedule.

Reports to Logistics Supervisor

Job Schedule
- Based on 40hr work week, overtime will be available.
- Overtime does happen. Employee will need to have flexible schedule.
