Job Overview : A law firm based in Irvine, CA, is seeking an experienced Employment Litigation Associate Attorney with 4-7 years of relevant experience.
The ideal candidate will handle a diverse wage and hour litigation caseload, including class / collective actions and PAGA cases.
This role requires strong litigation skills, including drafting pleadings, discovery, motions, and conducting depositions.
Duties :
- Handle all aspects of employment litigation, including wage and hour disputes, class actions, and PAGA cases.
- Draft and respond to discovery requests and initial pleadings.
- Prepare and argue motions, including summary judgment and other dispositive motions.
- Conducted and defended depositions of clients, witnesses, and experts.
- Manage case files and documents effectively, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Provide legal analysis and strategic advice to clients.
Requirements :
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the State Bar of California in good standing.
- 4-7 years of experience practicing employment litigation law.
- Proven experience with wage and hour litigation, class / collective actions, and PAGA cases.
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent oral advocacy and negotiation skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.
Education and Certifications :
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to the State Bar of California.
