Description :

The Senior Systems Engineer position for our Ellicott City, MD office requires both proven experience with IT / Technology and outstanding project management skills.

This position is ideal for someone who wants to grow into a managerial role while mentoring Level I-III techs and managing projects for the company.

The right candidate will get the opportunity to work in multiple environments, be able to deliver complex solutions for clients, and manage projects from design to completion phase.

The candidate will also need to assist with writing the technical part of proposals and past experience in this will be a big plus.

Onsite work at client sites up to 25% of the candidate's time and working on all types of level I-III IT issues is required.

The position will be largely remote, but the candidate will work from the Ellicott City, MD office 2 days a week (8.30 am 5.

30 pm). A minimum of 10 years of experience is required candidates with less experience will not be considered.

The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications :

• Experience in Office 365 and Azure (both administration and configuration)
• Experience with Active Directory administration / design (On-premise and Hybrid AD with Azure)
• Experience migrating on-premise Active Directory to Azure (both full and hybrid migrations)
• Enterprise-level networking (including network segmentation)
• Experience in Cloud Computing is desired
• Creating Powershell scripts a plus
• Experience working with NIST / CMMC remediations
• Experience working with regulatory requirements / processes such as SOC2 and HIPAA a plus
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong troubleshooting methodology
• Proven Project Management skills
• Excellent Written / Verbal Communication Skills
• Strong Customer Service Skills, Supporting Novice to Advanced Users
• Know how to work as part of a team
• Previous experience working for a Managed Service Provider (MSP) a plus
• A strong candidate will have the following qualifications - minimum of 10 years hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting networking equipment, servers and workstations, Exchange server and Active Directory;

five years of experience in a client-facing environment with good customer service skills; excellent verbal and written communication with detail orientation and the ability to track and manage multiple projects.

There is a 3 month probationary period and the candidate should also have the ability to lift / move up to 50 lbs. of computer / server equipment if needed.

This is an exempt position with annual compensation between $90,000-$110,000 / year depending upon the right fit, background and experience of the candidate.
