Job Details
Responsibilities :
- Represent clients in a wide range of insurance defense cases, including personal injury, automobile, property damage, construction defect, professional liability, and employment liability.
- Provide expert legal advice to clients, ensuring they are fully informed of their rights, options, and legal implications.
- Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, briefs, motions, appeals, and contracts.
- Conduct extensive legal research to support client cases and stay abreast of changes in law.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients in an effort to resolve cases efficiently and favorably.
- Develop and implement effective defense strategies to achieve successful outcomes.
- Participate in trials, presenting evidence, and making persuasive arguments in favor of our clients.
- Collaborate with a team of legal professionals, sharing knowledge, and contributing to the overall success of our firm.
Qualifications :
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
- A minimum of 2+ years of experience as a practicing attorney, specifically in insurance defense.
- Proven experience in handling cases related to personal injury, automobile, property damage, construction defect, professional liability, and employment liability.
- Admission to the state bar and in good standing.
- Exceptional negotiation skills and a proven track record of successful case settlements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to handle complex legal issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly and effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- A high degree of professional ethics, integrity, and a commitment to client confidentiality.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
