This is a unique positionseeking a mechanical engineering candidate that can support ourNashville TN mechanical operations primarilywor king out ofTroy MI but with occasional travel to our Nashville Office and orJobSites.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Designand coordinate all mechanical distribution systems meeting projectspecifications
- Occasionallyreview and oversee layout work performed by unlicensed engineers onstaff
- Occasionallymanage and schedule 3D modelers / 2D Drafters (VDC / BIM modelers) onstaff
- Reviewedit and write projectspecifications
- Generateand / or review production submittals against projectspecifications
- Assistin estimating process for mechanical contractor by attending walkthrough s defining scope and generating bill ofmaterials
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS :
- Degreein MechanicalEngineering
- Mustbe a registered Professional Engineer (PE) licensed in a U.S.state.
- Candidatemust have 25 years minimum experience with mechanical contractingcompany (preferred) and / or Architectural / Engineeringfirm
- Experiencewith reviewing editing and writing projectspecifications
- Experiencewith generating and / or reviewing production submittals againstprojectspecifications
- Experiencewith walk through s defining scope and generating bill ofmaterials
- Selfdirected
- Candidatemust possess strong communicationskills
- Strongskills in Revit (or other compatible software) arerequired
