Summary
The Warehouse Associate position performs essential duties and responsibilities in all warehouse departments (pick / pack, shipping, receiving, and kit pack).

Duties & Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Basic Duties :
- Maintain a safe and clean work area.
- Adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Use Windows-based PC, including but not limited to e-mail, shipping programs, Axapta program.
Pick / Pack
- Picks parts from warehouse locations to fill customer orders, using the packing list (order form) to retrieve the parts from their stock locations.
- Using several types of material handling equipment : pallet jacks, push carts, hand truck, fork truck and RF (radio frequency) bar code reading system.
- Packs parts in appropriate packaging for shipment (individual boxes or palletized) maintaining accuracy of parts and quantity.
Receiving
- Unload incoming material from trucks using fork truck and / or pallet jack.
- Check in material.
- Verify received material to attached packing list, and locating in warehouse pallet racks, bin racks, and floor locations using fork truck and RF (radio frequency) bar code reading system.
Kit Pack
- Build kits according to production work orders.
- Produce kits in a timely and accurate manner to meet customer expectation and demand.
- Position parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints.
- Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners.

Education and / or Experience :
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); One-year related experience in a warehouse environment.
- Good oral communication and writing skills. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to complete routine reports and correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisor and other employees of the organization.
Ability to recognize and / or write letters and numbers in proper sequence.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
