Stolen Vehicle Services Software Engineer

In this position...

Software Engineer position within the Cloud Platform Engineering organization that will work on the Stolen Vehicle Service product.

The Software Engineer will be a part of a Product Team that is responsible for delivering high quality features and APIs that support various Ford Motor Company connected vehicle initiatives.

The Software Engineer will collaborate with the Product Owner, Technical Product Manager, and other Software Engineers to lead systems design, development, testing, and operations activities.

The Software Engineer will be responsible for working with a variety of technologies for cloud development.

You'll have...

• or . in Computer or Software Engineering or related degree; or foreign equivalency degree, or a combination of equivalent experience and education.
• 5+ years of Java development experience.
• 3+ years of Spring and Spring Boot framework experience.
• 3+ years of experience with Software Development tools (Backlog Management, Source Code Management such as GitHub, Test Management, CI / CD, .
• 3+ years of experience with Test Driven Development and Agile Methodologies.
• 2+ years of experience with Cloud environments (GCP, AWS, Azure)

Even better, you may have...

• Exposure to Kotlin Mutliplatform
• Experience working with messaging service like Pub / sub, Kafka
• Experience with integrated development tool like Intellij, Eclipse
• Experience with DevOps tools such as Terraform, Jenkins, SonarQube, Checkmarx, Fossa, and GitHub to deploy, improve and manage software
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Passion for learning new development technologies and practices.
• Ability to multi-task and manage changing priorities.

This position is a range of salary grades 6-8 .
