About The Position

Job Title : Registered Polysomnographic Technologist

Profession : Sleep Technology

Specialty : Sleep Study

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 12-hour Nights

Hours per Shift : 36 hours per week

Experience : Minimum of 1 year

License : RPSGT

Certifications : BLS

Must-Have :

Sleep Tech trained with a minimum of 1 year experience.

All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility.

Description :

Perform diagnostic sleep testing, including all PAP therapy titration.

Check in patients and set up rooms for testing.

Assist with patient hookup and charting.

Clean and maintain equipment after each use.

Use computerized charting systems and sleep technology equipment.

Work only nights from Sunday to Thursday, with no floating to other units.

The Sleep Lab consists of 10 beds, two of which can be used for pediatric testing.

Patient to tech ratio is 2 : 1, or 1 : 1 for patients younger than 3 years old.

Limited scoring occurs during data collection.

No call is required for this position.
