CDL Drivers are responsible for transporting different types of equipment to customer locations using our trucks / trailers.
Drivers also follow appropriate safety procedures to transport cargo and maintain logs of vehicle repair status and working hours and climb on trailers to chain and secure equipment.
Some equipment will need to be push or pulled with another unit or winch to load.
Responsibilities :
- Delivering freight.
- Managing proof of delivery paperwork from customers.
- Loading and unloading equipment for delivery.
- Checking mechanical aspects of the vehicle.
- Driving different types of trucks.
Qualifications :
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations and traffic laws.
- Having customer service skills.
- Being self-motivated.
- Good communication skills.
- Being able to work independently.
- Possess interpersonal skills.
- Being responsible.
- Having good knowledge of local roads.
- Being able to work under pressure.
- Strong work ethic.
- The ability to read customer orders and follow safety regulations.
- High School Diploma or equivalent education level as minimum.
- Have a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL), current physical card and clean driving record.
- Complete a pre-employment drug screen.
