About The Position
Job Title : Registered Nurse (RN) Job Specialty : Inpatient Rehabilitation Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Nights, 6 : 30 PM - 7 : 00 AM Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week Experience : Minimum of 2 years License : RN License Certifications : Basic Life Support (BLS) Must-Have : Experience with EPIC and rehabilitation or acute care Job Description : Work in a 50-bed acute inpatient rehabilitation facility.
- Care for patients with conditions such as stroke, brain and spinal-cord injuries, amputations, and complex orthopedic injuries.
- Help patients achieve their highest level of recovery and aim for a return home as soon as possible.- Work in a hospital accredited by The Joint Commission and CARF-accredited for Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation and Stroke Specialty Programs.
- Function without on-call requirements.- Provide care with a patient ratio of 6 to 1 using equipment, including Electronic Health Records (EHR) system, EPIC.
- Engage and support a diverse patient population, primarily adults and geriatric patients.- Wear any color of scrubs and report by 8 AM on the first day.
- Collaborate with the team under the supervision of a designated supervisor.- Participate in comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs to maximize the health, function, and quality of life of patients.
