2nd Shift Building Mechanic

Schedule : Friday-Tuesday or Saturday-Wednesday

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance duties in and around the buildings of the complex, including constructing, repairing, and maintaining related equipment.

Essential Functions

  • Complete assigned work orders daily, including repairs and maintenance of mechanical, electrical, and non-mechanical equipment, ensuring safety, timeliness, and adherence to standards and manufacturer specifications.
  • Monitor mechanical devices (pumps, motors, engines, etc.) during operation, listen for irregular sounds, and notify supervisors of issues immediately.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed and submit paperwork at the end of each shift.
  • Maintain a safe and efficient work area.
  • Independently complete assigned projects / tasks requiring specialized trade expertise, ensuring safety, accuracy, and timeliness.
  • Estimate necessary quantities of materials and ensure adequate time for ordering.

    • Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Three (3) years of relevant experience
