This is a one day a week position, working Monday or possibly every other Monday at 8 am for 8 hour shift. There is a possibility to work additional hours as well.
Craniofacial clinic is a fast-paced multidisciplinary clinic that sees 100+ visits per Monday.
Under the direction of technical supervisor, the ARRT certified, California-licensed technologist performs radiologic procedures in assigned areas at a safe and technical level not requiring constant supervision.
Tech will perform safe imaging procedures on outpatient Craniofacial populations primarily, with ability to cover imaging needs in other outpatient departments as requested.
Diagnostic procedures include, but are not limited to, basic radiographic exams using fixed and portable imaging equipment in Outpatient setting.
Performs various radiographic exams and processes images on various archival systems.& Professionally accountable for submitting high-quality images to PACS.
Participates in performance improvement activities in the department.& Demonstrates excellent customer service to patients.
Correctly identifies patients for the procedures performed and their respective images.& Follows Infection Control policies, radiation policies and good body mechanics.
Maintains appropriate continuing education credits.& Complies with all Medical Center and Department policies and procedures.
Requires ARRT, CRT and California fluoroscopy license.
New hires must not perform any radiology procedures until they receive their license (CRT) from the State of California.& New hires may begin their orientation to the department, observe procedures and assist during this time period, which is not to exceed 6 months.
New hires must receive their California fluoroscopy license within the first 6 months of employment or probationary period.

Please note : An offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate AND the current salary level of individuals working with us in a similar role.
For roles covered by a bargaining unit agreement, there will be specific rules about where a new hire would be placed on the range.
Requires ARRT Licensure or ARRT-approved equivalent.
Requires CRT Licensure
Graduate of a formal radiology technology-training program in an AMA approved school.
Flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to rotate shifts and coverage for weekends and holidays.
WORK SETTING
Will support dental xray systems and peds urology. Someone who has worked in Peds urology or similar environment and someone who has experience would be beneficial.

This is to replace the RT that is needed every Monday for all Panorex films needed for future Plastic reconstruction, collaborative Orthodontia treatment, and / or Cleft lip / palate repair / treatment
