Swoon is hiring for our client in the LA area and this will be heavily remote but will require some onsite visits in the area (potentially like 1x a week).

This is a 6-month contract to start with Benefits - Health, Dental & Vision (50% of premium is covered for contractors) and this will more than likely be extended and be a multi-year project.

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale IT deployment initiatives. This role involves full-cycle project management, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet high-quality standards.

The ideal candidate is an accomplished project manager with expertise in large IT projects, strong leadership and communication abilities, and a track record of successfully guiding cross-functional teams through complex technology implementations.

Responsibilities :

In this role, you’ll oversee the planning, execution, and tracking of major IT deployment projects, collaborating with senior leadership and stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and budgets.

You’ll develop detailed project plans that cover resource allocation, risk mitigation, and milestones.

As the primary contact for stakeholders, you’ll ensure project alignment with business goals and manage expectations effectively.

This includes providing regular project updates through status reports, dashboards, and documentation for senior management.

You’ll manage and coordinate cross-functional teams, including developers, systems engineers, quality assurance personnel, and third-party vendors.

Your focus will be on fostering accountability, clear communication, and collaboration, conducting regular meetings to address and resolve issues while maintaining team morale and productivity.

A proactive approach to identifying and addressing risks is essential. You’ll handle escalations, develop contingency plans, and manage project risks to avoid delays and budget impacts.

Budget oversight will be key, as you’ll monitor resource allocations, track expenses, and communicate any variances from approved budgets to leadership.

Lastly, you’ll ensure that all deliverables meet established quality standards and project goals, identifying and implementing improvements within project management practices to enhance efficiency and outcomes.
