Lake Shore Therapy Group is a mental health private practice located in Chicago and Northfield, IL. We offer a range of counseling services in the Chicagoland area, including individual and couples counseling. We also provide supervision for provisionally licensed therapists. Our mission is to provide compassionate and evidence-based therapeutic services to individuals, couples, and families. We are in network with BlueCross Blue Shield PPO, Aetna, and United plans. Role Description

We are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Licensed Therapist (LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mental health counseling and a passion for helping clients navigate their personal challenges. The role is primarily located in Northfield, IL, with the option for a flexible, hybrid schedule. Responsibilities of the therapist include :

  • Conduct therapy sessions with your specialized population (adolescent / child therapists preferred).
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client sessions and progress.
  • Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings.
  • Stay current with best practices and emerging research in the field of mental health.
  • Collaborate with other therapists and healthcare professionals to provide holistic care.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field.
  • State licensure as a therapist (LCSW, LCPC, LMFT).
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
  • Strong clinical assessment and treatment skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team
  • Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic approaches
  • Experience with electronic record keeping systems
  • Preferred :

  • Experience with trauma-informed care
  • Specialty in child / adolescent therapy
