We are looking for a Product Line Chief Research Engineers (PLCRE) for the Autonomy, Processing & Exploitation (APEX) product line within FAST Labs.

APEX research spans technology thrusts from sensor processing (including communications, position, navigation, and timing, and signal exploitation), through knowledge generation and sense-making, up to tactical and operational level autonomy and decision support for manned, unmanned, and teamed mission applications.

Our research drives advances in artificial intelligence, machine learning, and statistical signal processing, pushing the boundaries of what is possible through advanced system prototypes and capability demonstrations.

We seek to expand and advance our capabilities into full-spectrum, all-domain, all-participant, multi-time-scale applications.

The APEX PLCRE reports to the FAST Labs Chief Engineer and leads the engineering efforts across the product line in support of FAST labs technology research and development across all phases of research project evolution.

This leadership includes supporting the establishment, planning, and execution of technology maturation strategies and engineering research and development approaches.

The APEX PLCRE guides the application of appropriate engineering rigor and risk-taking naturally associated with advanced R&D, and ensures appropriate technology transition planning for product implementation in the receiving Business Area.
