A chiropractic office in Eugene is seeking a chiropractic assistant and patient access specialist. This position will assist their diverse population of patients with intake and care needs.
They are looking for someone who is bilingual in Spanish and English, with excellent interpersonal skills. They will train the right person who is hardworking and eager to learn.
Job Details :
- Hours : 8 to 5 : 30, Monday, Wednesday, Friday
- Pay Rate : starting at $18 / hour
- Position Type : 90-day temp to hire
Responsibilities :
- Greet clientele and provide excellent customer service.
- Answer multi-line phone system and respond to office correspondence
- Maintain patient records
- Check patients in / out and make upcoming appointments
- Scan, fax, and email documents
- HIPAA compliant at all times
- Handle intake forms necessary for patient care and billing insurance
- Use ChiroTouch ERM proficiently
- Assist Doctor in caring for patients
- Provide therapies per Doctor’s orders
- Keep rooms and patient bathroom clean, stocked, and ready for use
- Maintain a neat and tidy lobby and work area
- Communicate effectively and work as a team player within the office environment
- Learn quickly and manage time with efficiency
Ideal candidates have the following skills and experience :
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Chiropractic Assistant Certification, or willingness to earn the certificate
- Ability to interact effectively with a diverse group of people
- History of being punctual, having good work attendance, and mutual team respect
- Positive and caring attitude
