Company Overview : We are a certified sheet metal building constructor specializing in the construction of commercial buildings, including warehouses, storage facilities, airplane hangars, industrial buildings, retail spaces, and more.

Position Overview : We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience as an Estimator or working within Pre-Construction.
This role requires a strong understanding of the construction process, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to produce accurate estimates for complex projects.
Key Responsibilities :
- Estimating and Bid Preparation :
- Develop detailed cost estimates for sheet metal building projects, including labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
- Review and interpret project plans, specifications, and other documents to accurately determine the scope of work.
- Prepare and submit comprehensive bid proposals for commercial construction projects.
- Project Analysis :
- Analyze project requirements and specifications to identify cost-saving opportunities and potential risks.
- Conduct site visits as necessary to gather information for accurate estimating.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure estimates align with project goals and objectives.
- Vendor and Subcontractor Management :
- Solicit and evaluate quotes from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and adherence to project specifications.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key vendors and subcontractors to support project needs.
- Cost Control and Reporting :
- Monitor project costs and provide regular updates to senior management on budget performance.
- Prepare cost reports and analysis to support project decision-making and financial planning.
- Documentation and Compliance :
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all estimates, bids, and related documentation.
- Ensure compliance with all company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 2-3 years of experience as an Estimator or working within Pre-Construction
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry best practices.
- Proficiency in estimating software and tools (e.g., Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
