Location : United States of America (ONSITE ONLY - In-Office in Richmond, VA.)

Relocation assistance will be provided.

At this role, you will :

  • Define and execute a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with client's business goals and objectives. This includes identifying target markets, setting sales targets, and establishing tactics for achieving them.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and motivate a high-performing sales team. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to ensure the team meets or exceeds sales quotas and performance targets.
  • Take ownership of revenue targets and develop strategies to maximize sales opportunities. Identify new business opportunities, upsell to existing clients, and optimize sales processes to drive revenue growth.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners. Understand their needs, address concerns, and provide solutions to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and lead generation activities to achieve revenue targets. Utilize CRM tools and sales analytics to track progress, forecast sales projections, and prioritize opportunities.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities. Conduct market analysis and competitive research to identify opportunities and threats, and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams such as marketing, product development, and customer support to ensure alignment and collaboration on sales-related initiatives.

Provide feedback from clients and prospects to inform product enhancements and marketing strategies.

  • Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reports and updates to senior management. Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Stay abreast of developments in sales techniques, best practices, and industry trends. Continuously seek opportunities for professional growth and skill development to enhance your effectiveness as a sales leader.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for client at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities. Present their products and services to potential clients and partners to drive business growth and expansion.

Minimum Requirements :

  • A bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, sales, or a related field is typically required. Advanced degrees or certifications may be preferred but not always necessary.
  • Demonstrated experience in sales leadership roles, preferably in technology, or online marketplace industry. A track record of success in driving revenue growth, managing sales teams, and exceeding sales targets is essential.
  • Strong leadership qualities with the ability to inspire, motivate, and mentor a team of sales professionals. Experience in recruiting, training, and managing high-performing sales teams is highly desirable.
  • The ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans that align with company goals and objectives. Experience in market analysis, sales forecasting, and identifying growth opportunities is important.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.

Experience in client acquisition, retention, and satisfaction is critical.

  • Knowledge of online marketplaces, digital advertising, and technology solutions in the real estate sector is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical abilities with the capacity to interpret sales data, metrics, and performance indicators. Proficiency in using CRM tools, sales analytics software, and Microsoft Office suite is preferred.
  • The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, where priorities may change rapidly. Flexibility, resilience, and the capacity to navigate ambiguity are important qualities for success.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. The willingness to contribute ideas, share knowledge, and support colleagues in achieving shared goals is essential.
