SUMMARY

We are seeking experienced and highly skilled Industrial Maintenance Technicians to join our can filling team. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of production equipment in accordance with safety, quality, and productivity standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Equipment Maintenance : Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on production equipment, including but not limited to can filling machines, conveyors, and packaging systems.
• Preventive Maintenance : Conduct scheduled preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and prolong equipment lifespan.

Replace worn parts, lubricate machinery, and perform inspections to identify potential issues.

• Emergency Repairs : Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and malfunctions to minimize production disruptions. Diagnose problems, implement corrective actions, and document maintenance activities.
• Safety Compliance : Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while performing maintenance activities. Identify and address safety hazards to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
• Quality Assurance : Collaborate with production and quality control teams to maintain product quality standards. Ensure that equipment adjustments and maintenance activities do not compromise product integrity.
• Inventory Management : Maintain inventory of spare parts and consumables required for equipment maintenance.
• Documentation and Reporting : Keep accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment performance, and repair history.
• Training and Support : Train production operators on basic equipment maintenance procedures and troubleshooting techniques.

Provide technical support and guidance to enhance overall equipment efficiency.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee must frequently sit or stand and use their hands to finger, handle, and feel objects, tools, and controls for extended periods of time.

The employee is frequently required to bend and reach with hands and arms for extended periods of time.

The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 75 pounds with mechanical assistance and lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.

The employee must frequently kneel, squat, bend, stoop, twist, and reach overhead with repetitive motions. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Requirements :

• High school diploma or GED; technical certification or apprenticeship in mechanical or electrical maintenance with at least 2 years of experience in industrial maintenance and demonstrated experience in an industrial manufacturing environment, preferably in the aluminum can filling and packaging equipment industry.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting with pneumatic and hydraulic systems and welding. Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and technical drawings.

Knowledge of safety regulations and practices related to equipment maintenance and operation.

Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail with effective communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Flexibility to work rotating shifts on a 2-2-3 schedule with every other weekend, and overtime as needed.
