Caregiver for Outings and Activities in the Community
PLEASE NOTE : Position requires Valid CA driver’s license in good standing and access to a registered vehicle with proof of insurance
THRIVE AS A CAREGIVER AT SEVITA. EACH DAY, YOU'LL :
Provide support and companionship one-on-one with an adult with intellectual or developmental disabilities out in the community doing activities like : outings / field trips, activities and events, shopping and eating out, developmental goal-based activities.
Individuals in this program are high-functioning and typically do not need hands-on support with personal hygiene.
- Schedule : Part-time and full-time available; Schedule is very flexible - Shifts are in the late afternoon / evenings on weekdays and during the day on weekends - weekend availability is required for this position since this is when most of the outings are scheduled.
- Pay Rate : $$17.27 - $18.50 / hour (depending on type of program) plus mileage reimbursement for using your vehicle for outings (you will get more mileage reimbursement with this program).

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO SEVITA :
- Valid CA driver's license (and driving experience with the license at least one year beyond driving’s permit).
- Proof of education i.e. High School diploma or GED.
- Vehicle with registration / insurance in your name.
