Oversight of agency operations ensuring that billing processing and claims filing are timely and remove any barriers to timely filing.
Oversees the operations processes ensuring that the organization runs smoothly. Supervises the billing, clerical, and scheduling areas to ensure efficient revenue cycle management and appropriate productivity management.
Has a full understanding of the entire revenue system and acts to improve, enhance, and sustain functions that impact the revenue cycle.
Has full access to patient health information. Designated as backup for the Executive Director in his / her absence. Applies business analysis, project management, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills to support the oversight of Quality Assurance efforts for the facility by underwriting, preparing reports, performing healthcare data analysis and validation, producing, gathering, writing functional specifications, and performing workflow analysis.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s Degree in a health-related field. Current licensure in an appropriate discipline.
- Competent in Microsoft Office, reports, data interpretation, etc.
- Management experience is preferred.
- Quality Management or Continuous Quality Improvement, research, analysis, statistical courses, or experience desirable.
- Current North Carolina driver’s license, valid insurance coverage, and reliable transportation.
Physical / Special Demands :
Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for the position, including walking, kneeling, standing, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, reaching, and sitting for extended periods of time.
Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
