About The Position
Job Title : Respiratory Therapist Job Specialty : Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Job Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day 3x12-Hour (07 : 00 - 19 : 30) Guaranteed Hours : To be determined Experience : Minimum 2 years required Licenses : RCP Licensure, RRT Licensure Certifications : - Basic Life Support (BLS) - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Must-Have : - Epic charting experience preferred Job Description : Perform therapeutic, diagnostic, and emergency respiratory care procedures.
- Provide assessment, treatment, care, and evaluation for patients with respiratory insufficiencies or abnormalities.- Exercise sound judgment and develop clinical skills to contribute to and implement the patient's care plan based on diagnosis and physician orders.
- Gain confidence and cooperation from patients, their family / support groups, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring and care, and effective communication.
- Available for every other weekend as needed. Additional Information : COVID-19 and flu vaccine status unknown.
