BSE is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Production Management & Operations to oversee and optimize the efficiency of our production processes.

This role is integral to ensuring the seamless execution of projects, from initial conception through to final delivery.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in production management and operations, coupled with proven leadership abilities.

Job description - what you will do :

  • Be responsible for all aspects of production processes, including scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and logistics.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for production operations aligned with company goals and objectives.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to production managers, coordinators, and other team members to ensure cohesive and efficient workflow.
  • Collaborate with creative and technical teams to plan and execute production schedules that meet quality standards and deadlines.
  • Manage production budgets, monitor expenditures, and optimize resource allocation to enhance efficiency and minimize costs.
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to ensure cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
  • Implement quality control measures to uphold production and post-production standards and ensure adherence to industry regulations and company policies.
  • Continuously evaluate production workflows and processes to identify areas for improvement and implement standard processes.
  • Identify potential risks and proactively develop contingency plans to mitigate disruptions to production schedules or operations.
  • Resolve production-related issues and challenges in a timely and effective manner, fostering a culture of problem-solving and innovation.
  • Recruit, train, and mentor production staff to cultivate an impactful team capable of achieving production goals.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, technological advancements, and standard processes.
  • Leverage technology and innovation to streamline workflows, improve productivity, and enhance the overall production process.

Candidate profile - who you are :

  • Proven experience (typically 5+ years) in production management, operations management, and related roles within the entertainment, media, or creative industries.
  • Proficiency in production management software, budgeting tools, and other relevant technologies.
  • Strong leadership abilities with demonstrated experience in managing and developing teams.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a track record of implementing process improvements and achieving operational efficiencies.

Travel requirements May be required to travel on occasions; trips may require air travel and / or overnight stay for one or more nights.

Salary range $120,000-$150,000 Work environment Works primarily in an office environment but upon request will be encouraged to attend games and other events on evenings, weekends and holidays.
