We are seeking an experienced B2B Copywriter.
The opportunity : The growing 40+ person creativeteam at FINN Partners needs a B2B writing ace who can deftly execute a wide range of assignments for our financial services clients with the goal of eventually assuming a leadership role on the business.

A simplifier. You can take something technical and complex and boil it down to easy-to-understand, conversational language that people find engaging.
Hint : neither of the Bs in B2B stand for boring)
- Versatile. You can write anything from pithy headlines and engaging social copy to video content, case studies and white papers.
- Hungry. You can’t wait to dig into any kind of writing assignment no matter what it is because you see everything as an opportunity.
- A quick study. It doesn’t take you long to master a client’s voice.
- A proprietor. You take ownership of your work, proactively seeing it through from concept to completion without a lot of handholding.
- A visual thinker. You enjoy partnering with an art director / designer to determine information hierarchy and the best way to communicate a message.
- Outwardly curious. You ask lots of good questions in an effort to fully understand the client’s business.
- A good juggler. You’re an organized multi-tasker who can balance a full plate of assignments.
- Ambitious. You are interested in building your career and assuming a client-facing leadership role on an account.

Wherever you are. And in the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays if you want.
We’re a remote workplace (with optional in-office days). We have US offices in Boston, Chicago, Detroit, LA, Nashville, New York, Vancouver, WA and Washington, DC each with their own vibe and a bunch of others abroad.
NOTE : Flexibility to work Pacific time hours a plus
What we’ll ask of you :
- Collaborate with art directors, strategists, and other team members to develop multi-channel creative concepts that are on strategy and reflect the tone of the brand.
- Distill complex technical information into conversational, easy-to-understand, engaging copy and content for various platforms, including websites, blogs, social media, email campaigns, infographics, collateral, case studies, video, whitepapers, etc.
- Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics and current trends to generate ideas for new content.
- Write copy from concept to completion based on input from client, agency team, and your own proactive research.
- Take ownership of your projects from start to finish, maintaining a consistently high standard of work.
- Be highly organized and able to manage multiple projects across multiple clients, regularly reporting their status to your project leads.
- Collaborate with designers / art directors to determine the hierarchy of content and most effective, engaging way to communicate messaging.
- Be able to work solo on some projects when needed with little handholding.
- Regularly attend client meetings to better understand their brand and business and build trusting relationships.
- Effectively present work to your supervisor, agency team and clients.
- Embrace a team culture, built on positive, productive working relationships.
Qualifications :
- A portfolio of work demonstrating your multi-channel B2B writing skills in the professional services arena (financial services experience even better!). (Required)
- 3-5 years of experience working within a creative department, either at an ad agency or on the client-side required.
- A working understanding of large matrixed organizations, and what it means to write for one.
- Experience with sales / field enablement is a definite plus
- Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PPT), G Suite (Docs, slides).
Anticipated Salary : 55,000-75,000
Commensurate with experience and depending upon workplace location.
