This position offers a combination of either 100% remote or hybrid options for employees residing in Arizona. There will be site visits and client interaction required.

Minimum seven years of design experience in the consulting engineering industry. Candidate will be responsible for technical performance as well as possess diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices.

Must have the ability to apply techniques, modifications and theories and have the ability to make decisions independently while still utilizing guidance from other engineers and project managers.

Essential Job Responsibilities Design mechanical systems for commercial buildings (project size will vary based upon experience) Project manager for mechanical and electrical projects (project size will vary based upon experience) Takes ownership of all aspects related to project Responsible for small proposals and presentations to clients Responsible for producing change orders in regards to out of scope work Establishes and maintains relationships with clients for the firm Resolves payment issues with clients Forecasts staffing needs for projects Plans and schedules project production coordinating with lead engineers Tracks and monitors budget, schedules and task lists Coordinates with internal team members such as engineers, admins, drafters Coordinates with external team members such as owners, architects, sub consultants Participates and / or leads meetings with clients / owners Skills Skilled in the use of Microsoft Office and CAD, BlueBeam and REVIT software Ability to communicate effectively Work collaboratively with others Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited four-year college or university Prefer a minimum of 7 years building design experience in the MEP industry Registration as a Professional Engineer preferred Quality of Leadership Demonstrated leadership skills Promotes positive attitude, image Possesses excellent motivational skills Shows fairness and consistency;
