Our story
Originally founded by two emergency room psychiatrists, Dr. Chris Carson and Dr. Robert Williamson, Connections Health Solutions brings 30 years of experience serving individuals in crisis and operates two of the nations largest and most studied crisis response centers and is currently expanding to more states.
Since opening our doors, we have provided care and treatment for hundreds of thousands of individuals in crisis.
Responsibilities : What You'll Do :
What You'll Do :
Conducts a thorough, accurate, clinically sound Psychosocial Assessment with the patient in a timely manner. Maintain the clinic record, including documentation of activities performed as part of the service delivery process.
Obtain signatures from patient regarding treatment, as necessary.
Gather collateral information from the patient, their clinic, other providers, the petitioner, etc. in order to provide a more thorough assessment of what the patients immediate needs are for treatment and discharge.
Develop and implement an individualized person-centered Treatment Plan that is appropriate for brief intervention. Complete the signed Treatment Plan review with each patient and any other involved parties.
Participate in regular case staffing with the involved Provider as new information is gathered to ensure the most clinically appropriate patient disposition.
Collaborate with medical providers, nurses, BHS, and peer supports to engage, monitor and communicate with the individual ensuring that safety is maintained while meeting the individuals needs.
- Maintain a working knowledge of the Title 36 Involuntary Commitment process. When subpoenaed, attend COE hearings. Serves as a point of contact for legal process.
- Conduct brief intervention, individual, family and group counselling. Participate in redirecting patient behavior when necessary.
Document all services and patient activities appropriately. Maintains a safe milieu.
Maintain a working knowledge of the Maricopa County Regional Behavioral Health Authority (RBHA) system and potential funding sources.
Maintain licensure in accordance with AzBBHE standards.
Participate in individual and group supervision as required. Participate in ongoing education, including in-services, training, and other activities to maintain and improve competency.
Demonstrate competency through post-testing, skill observation, and performance as assessed by direct supervisor.

- Masters Degree in Behavioral Health or related field.
- At least 1 year of clinical and crisis operations experience
- Licensure by the AZ Board of Behavioral Health Examiners (LAC, LPC, LASAC, LISAC, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT) is required
- Fingerprint clearance required
