Insurance Defense Associate Attorney

Seeking experienced Insurance Defense Associate Attorney in Raleigh, NC with trial experience to join their esteemed litigation team.

We are searching for an exceptional attorney with a strong academic background and five or more years of experience in insurance defense, liability and / or other commercial litigation.

The position involves working with insurers and businesses through litigation and alternative dispute resolution. The hired candidate will be trusted to represent and counsel clients throughout all aspects of litigation regarding a variety of business and insurance related disputes.

• Active bar license in North Carolina. (must have)
• Juris Doctor from an ABA accredited law school. (must have)
• 5 or more years of litigation experience in insurance defense, liability, construction defect, injury, and / or complex commercial litigation
• Ability to manage cases throughout all stages of litigation; reviewing and propounding discovery, taking, and defending depositions, trial prep, and attendance at hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and trial
• Possess superior writing and communication skills
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to work independently
• Experience with Federal and State Court litigation is preferred
