As a Data Science Product Manager, you will be at the intersection of data science and product development, playing a key role in driving the success of our products.
You will leverage your deep understanding of data science methodologies and tools, along with your experience in product management, and understanding of digital marketing concepts to develop and execute strategies that enhance our product offerings.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Product Strategy and Development : Define and execute product strategies, ensuring alignment with business goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring data-driven products from concept to market.
- Data Analysis and Modeling : Utilize data warehousing and analytics tools, including Pandas, Python, and R, to analyze complex data sets and build predictive models that inform product decisions.
- Go-to-Market (GTM) Strategy : Develop and implement GTM strategies for new products, including market analysis, positioning, and messaging.
- Cross-functional Collaboration : Work closely with engineering, marketing, sales, and customer support teams to ensure product success and alignment with customer needs.
- Market Research : Conduct market research to identify new opportunities and stay abreast of industry trends and competitive landscape.
- Stakeholder Management : Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, translating complex data science concepts into actionable business insights.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Econometrics, Business, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a product management role, preferably in a data science or tech-focused environment.
- Proven experience with data warehousing, analytics, and modeling tools such as Pandas, Python, and R.
- Strong understanding of GTM strategies and marketing principles.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
