Join Central Oklahoma Community Mental Health Center (COCMHC) in Norman, OK team as an Employee Trainer! This position is assigned responsibility for all facets of employee training for COCMHC employees.
The individual selected must have excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to teach and coach groups of people new to the field.
The person selected for this position will be responsible for training in Therapeutic Options, CPR, First Aid, new employee orientation topics and other training as needed.
Must have the ability to organize, collect, and analyze data. Must exhibit and maintain professional behaviors and serve as coach, trainer and mentor to staff and may at times provide support to staff and consumers, on the grounds and during off campus consumer appointments.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience :
- Bachelor’s degree; or an equivalent combination of education and experience, substituting one year of qualifying experience for each year of the bachelor’s degree.
- Preference given to applicants that have previous employee training experience.

Drug and Alcohol Pre-employment and Pre-placement Testing : Upon a conditional offer of employment, applicants for safety sensitive positions shall be required to submit to urinalysis to test for drugs.
Appointment to a safety sensitive position shall be contingent upon a negative drug test result.
THIS AGENCY REQUIRES COVERAGE 24 HOURS, 7 DAYS PER WEEK. WORK HOURS AND LOCATION MAY VARY DEPENDING ON BUSINESS NECESSITY.
EMPLOYEES MAY BE REQUIRED TO WORK WEEKENDS AND OVERTIME.
