Unit Description :
This is a 30-bed medical surgical telemetry unit located on the 4th floor of the hospital. It is perfect for RNs with experience in telemetry and patient monitoring.
RNs on this unit provide specialized care for patients requiring closer observation and continuous monitoring.
Responsibilities :
- Provide high-quality, compassionate care to patients on assigned unit.
- Monitor and assess patient health, and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on health management and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Qualifications :
- Current RN license in the state of California.
- BLS and ACLS certification required.
- Prior experience in medical-surgical / telemetry is preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
