Full-Time Family Assistant in South End for a family of three including a 7-month-old

Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency is assisting a family in the South End in finding a Full-Time Family Assistant for their 7-month-old daughter.

The Family Assistant would typically be needed Monday - Friday, 8 : 30 am - 4 : 30 pm.

The best Family Assistant for this family would be reliable, safety conscious, flexible, nurturing, and experienced in caring for infants and enjoys interacting with babies.

Their child is quite active and curious, so the family is looking for a Family Assistant who will be active and engaged with her throughout the day and not distracted by screens.

The family is looking for a Family Assistant who will engage in age-appropriate activities with their daughter, such as reading, taking her on walks, and assisting her with sitting, standing, and crawling.

The Family Assistant would be encouraged to take their daughter to age-appropriate outings and activities throughout the community when time allows.

Nanny Responsibilities Include :

Meeting daily scheduling needs of the child (Feeding, Changing, Napping)

Engaging with the child on an age-appropriate level

Playing with the child both inside and outside the home

Doing hands-on learning activities with the child

Plan age-appropriate activities for the Family Assistant and child to attend throughout the community.

Household Duties Include (Child is first priority; the family is not looking for any deep cleaning as they have cleaners that come to the home weekly.) :

Family laundry and changing the child’s sheets weekly

Rotating the child’s clothes as needed

Baby food and bottle prep

Family Meal prep (preparing ingredients, chopping vegetables, and on occasion, preparing a full meal using a basic recipe)

Washing and putting dishes and bottles away

Cleaning / tidying play areas : this would include vacuuming the play area to keep cat hair off of their daughter's toys and out of her mouth.

Grocery shopping as needed

Sanitizing toys and frequently used surfaces by the children

Emptying diaper pail as needed

Pets - The family has two cats, so the nanny should not be allergic to cats.

Qualifications :

Have at least 3 years of professional Family Assistant experience

Have a college degree or equivalent experience

Have a professional resume

Fill out a complete online application

Pass a pre-screening interview with Charlotte’s Best Nanny Agency

Pass a national background check, including a driving record check

Have a valid driver’s license

Have safe and reliable transportation

Have a minimum of three professional references

Be non-smoking / vaping

CPR and First Aid Certified

Nanny should be fluent in English; any additional languages are a plus

Must be up to date on vaccinations, including the Covid-19 vaccine, the annual Flu Vaccine, and TDAP

Start Date, Salary, and Benefits :

This position starts on November 4th

Legal pay is offered at $28.00 - $30.00 an hour, depending on experience
